Set of replacement ground textures for FSX, FSX Steam and P3D v1 to 5.
Are the default textures of cities, villages and rural areas recolored.
(Prohibited if you use FTX Global BASE Pack or similar products). In this case use only TEP files.

TEP, what is it?


TEP is a set of ground textures enhancement for Flight Simulator X & Prepa3d.
TEP takes again the whole world over the 4 seasons plus the rigorous winter.

Can be used alone on fresh FSX/P3D install or on other global addon products.

These textures represent all natural zones visible around the world:
Rocks, mountain pastures, plains, deserts, marsh (with effects of water), forests, tundra, savannah,
glacier and snows, coral, hardened lava, yellow sand, white sand, black sand plus surfaces around certain airfields.
The other zones of the world are automatically merged with the TEP textures.

That is to say more than 500 autogen files + 3700 textures with more 2Gb of data.

How it works?


Textures of TEP replace those of FSX/P3D by new textures, in particular, those which have a desert aspect, while them returning more coloured and detailed. They were carried out on the basis of photograph taken in different part of the world.

TEP is an enormous work which took 4 years to develop all these textures.
TEP makes it possible to improve returned FSX/P3D appreciably.

Since P3D v3.3 it's possible to install TEP in P3D without overwrite default textures or Global FTX textures or other 3d products installed in the default SCENERY/WORLD/TEXTURE
Install procedure detailled in the readme file.

What is NOT?

TEP don't replace cities, villages and urban zones. (See last updates v1.6.1 info for that)
TEP don't replace water textures.
It's not a mesh.
Don't replace vector roads like Golbal vector or other products.

It's free ?

TEP is a freeware that you install at your own risk.

It is strictly forbidden to upload this pack on any server whatsoever, distribute, adapt to another simulator, sell and yada yada yada... without my agreement.
At the slightest breach of these clauses, I stop the development of TEP!

    I just downloaded and was surprised at how quickly it downloaded! For nearly 2 gigs, it was downloaded within minutes! Anyway, I just took a spin in Norway and it really is a nice improvement! Thanks for so much work in these! They will add a lot of great scenic low flying in the fjords and mountains!

    You sir are doing the work of god. Thank you working on this add-on and making it freeware too so we who can't afford payware could enjoy a decent realistic terrain. Thank you very very much. And also thank you for uploading to google drive so that we could download it faster rather than on some site that downloads at 120kbps

    A remarkable work that deserves a minimum contribution. All free, you have to stop. When we see the sums invested in our machines and devices, we can at least participate at least 5 euros, just thank the job.
    I'm waiting for the author to insert a paypal button.

    this is all excellent, congratulations, it would be good to fix autogenous AGN for cities and some villages, if you noticed that a lot of houses and buildings are missing in some places
